In summer 2023, the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government,
released a new Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC). The CETC is an
ethics training mandated for all New York State officers and employees. The
CETC is a training that covers the Public Officers Law and other related
ethics laws and regulations. The expectation is 100% compliance by
completion of one (1) training for all NYS employees by 12/31/23. SUNY
and Commission
on Ethics & Lobbying in Government both have upcoming training
opportunities.


New! *The Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC) is now on-demand with
SUNY*. The training can be found within the SUNY Employee Portal. Navigate
to the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS) and search for the
training title of: "*COELIG On Demand EthicsTraining (CETC) 2023
(COELIG-OndemandCETC-2023**)"*. Instructions on how to access the SUNY
Employee Portal and the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS) are
attached.


The Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government is providing live
training sessions:

   -

   Thursday, November 16, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, November 30, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 7, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 14, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 21, from 1-2:30 p.m.


State employees may request registration at a Commission hosted session by
filling out a training registration request at:

   You will receive an email confirmation when your request has been
   processed.

   WebEx access links will be sent to all registered participants the week
   of the event.

   Please Note: Employees should register and attend from a SUNY email
   address so that the training records are properly recorded.
