Training Dates*
*Please disregard this message if you have completed the Comprehensive
Ethics Training Course (CETC) in 2023. This message is intended to offer
additional training dates to the NYS employees who have yet to complete
this mandatory training. *
In summer 2023, the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government,
released a new Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC). The CETC is an
ethics training mandated for all New York State officers and employees. The
CETC is a training that covers the Public Officers Law and other related
ethics laws and regulations. The expectation is 100% compliance by
completion of one (1) training for all NYS employees by 12/31/23.
SUNY and Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government have upcoming
training opportunities. Live training sessions at a specific date/time or a
on-demand for online self paced training sessions are now available:

Please Note: Employees should register and attend from a SUNY email address
so that the training records are properly recorded. Training is limited to
500 participants. Registration is required in advance to receive the zoom
meeting link.
*SUNY System Administration on-demand training: *The training can be found
within the SUNY Employee Portal. Navigate to the Statewide Learning
Management System (SLMS) and search for the training title of: "*COELIG On
Demand EthicsTraining (CETC) 2023 (COELIG-OndemandCETC-2023**)"*.
Instructions on how to access the SUNY Employee Portal and the Statewide
Learning Management System (SLMS) are attached.

State employees may request registration at a Commission hosted session by

processed.
