Teaching today in higher education poses many unprecedented challenges, for
instructors and students alike. We can all benefit from exchanging ideas
and discussing some of the problems and opportunities we're facing, so come
join your colleagues and Plattsburgh college community members in a
roundtable discussion!
Friday, January 29, 12-12:50 p.m.
Jessamyn Neuhaus will lead a lunchtime roundtable discussion about how the
unprecedented challenges of teaching and learning in higher education
during the pandemic years is leading to more significant burnout for
educators. More than simply being tired or uninspired, burnout is a serious
condition that has a real impact on mental and physical health. There's no
easy solutions but talking about the problem and sharing our own
experiences and strategies can help.

PLEASE NOTE: To deter Zoom bombers, every roundtable discussion has its
own unique numerical password. You can access the Zoom invitation
information, including the meeting passwords, by clicking on "CTE Zoom
Meeting Links."
