As we wrap up our first month of the Spring 2025 semester, OIE is excited
to share with you information about progress toward the Plattsburgh Next
Strategic Plan pillar of Strengthening Student Success, upcoming
presentations and workshops, and opportunities to engage with our office
and our campus data over the coming weeks.

Data Spotlight

We are excited to highlight data from the Learning Center to highlight
progress toward our Plattsburgh Next pillar of Strengthening Student
Success! This viz

course) and highlights the academic success of our tutors, who achieved an
average GPA of 3.69 in Fall 2024! If you have ideas for other data points
you’d like to shine a spotlight on, please let us know at

implemented every two years by SUNY state-operated and community colleges
in accordance with SUNY’s Campus Climate Assessment Policy. Per State
Education Law §129-B and SUNY Board of Trustees policy, all SUNY campuses
are required to administer a SVP survey at least every other year. More

Data Drop-Ins

Institutional Effectiveness is excited to announce a new opportunity to
connect: a monthly office hour we're calling Data Drop-Ins! We’ll provide
the coffee, you bring the curiosity. Interested in leveraging the Student
Success Dashboards? Have a data project or problem? Considering a future
data effort in your office? Feedback on a visualization? We're happy to
consult and provide recommendations or suggest resources. Perhaps you'd
just like to learn more about Institutional Effectiveness, how we serve the
campus, and ways you can get involved. All are welcome and we look forward
to the conversations! These drop-ins will take place the first Monday of
each month at 11 a.m. in Kehoe 313B. Hope to see you this coming Monday,
Mar. 3rd!

Thank you for reading this month’s edition of Data Matters. We hope these
