Dear Campus Community,

As the days grow shorter, I want to remind everyone to stay mindful of
crosswalk safety. Whether you’re a pedestrian or a driver, we all play a
part in keeping our campus safe.

*For Pedestrians:* Please remember to *Stop, Look, Wave* each time you
cross:

   1. *πŸ›‘ Stop* before entering the roadway.
   2. *πŸ‘“ Look* both ways for oncoming traffic.
   3. *πŸ‘‹ Wave* to get the driver's attention and wait for acknowledgment
   before crossing.

*For Drivers:* Please stay alert and be on the lookout for pedestrians at
crosswalks, especially at night, during sunrise and sunset, and in poor
weather. Visibility can be limited during these times, so extra caution is
needed.

By working together and taking these simple steps, we can make our campus a
safer place for everyone.

Stay safe,

Chief Patrick Rascoe
