[Important Information for Employees] Kehoe Administration Building Update

Dear Cardinal Community,

We are writing to update you on last night's water damage in the Kehoe
Administration Building. We understand this has caused concern and
disruption for many of you.


The damage was caused by a broken pipe between the 4th and 5th floors. A
restoration contractor continues to work on drying the Kehoe building and
removing damaged material. Systems that are crucial to the occupancy of the
building are being assessed, including electrical, fire alarm, and elevator
service.


We thank all staff who assisted overnight and throughout today in building
clean up, assessment, preparation, and other essential efforts.

Our commitment to the safety and well-being of all on campus remains our
top priority. We appreciate your patience as we work through needed
resources and accommodations to support all who are impacted.

The Kehoe Administration Building will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday,
Sept. 20. Building occupants are currently in the process of coordinating
alternate work locations. Once finalized, those new locations will be
shared campus wide. For now, please use emails to contact affected offices,
