[Important Information for Employees] UPDATE | Graduate Shuttle Available Saturday, No Commencement Reception Friday

Two updates for you as you prepare for Winter Commencement on Saturday,
Dec. 17, where the start has been pushed back to noon.

   - *Free Shuttle. *The campus will be offering a free Field House shuttle
   service for commencement Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m. The shuttle will
   depart every 15 minutes and passengers can board the shuttle at the ACC
   cutout. The shuttle will operate between the Field House and the ACC cutout
   at the conclusion of the commencement ceremony until 2:30 p.m.

   - *No Commencement Reception.* Friday's Commencement Reception in honor
   of our December graduates, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Flynt
   Commons, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

Other details for Saturday:

   - Doors to the lobby will open at 10 a.m.
   - Volunteers assisting are asked to arrive by 10:15 a.m.
   - Doors to the gymnasium will open at 11 a.m. Graduating students
   participating in the ceremony will assemble on the main level of the
   Stafford Ice Arena adjacent to the gymnasium in their academic regalia no
   later than 11:15 a.m.
   - Teaching faculty and professional staff may attend the ceremony in
   regalia. You should arrive no later than 11:30 a.m.
   - Ceremony will begin at noon.
