Dear Campus Community,
The college has recorded three new COVID-19 cases from among the 520 pooled
surveillance testing samples taken Tuesday -- two employees and an
off-campus student. An on-campus student case was also identified through
separate testing.
Inclusive of these, the college has recorded six total cases over the past
14 days.
The next pooled testing is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 19. Results of
pooled surveillance testing will be shared as they are reported back to
campus from Upstate Medical.
We encourage you to take steps daily to ensure the safety for you and all
around you. Many areas of the state are seeing strong post-holiday upticks
in cases, including Clinton County.
Wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, avoid large
social gatherings, and stay home when sick.
We will resume regular reporting and COVID-19 updates when the build-up to
the spring 2021 semester begins. We respect the privacy of those in
isolation and quarantine and will support them. If you are aware, please
also respect their privacy.
Dr. Alexander Enyedi
President
