[Important Information for Employees] Changes in Title IX Office

Dear Campus Community,



Butterfly Blaise Boire, campus Title IX Coordinator, has accepted a new and
exciting opportunity and will be leaving SUNY Plattsburgh. Butterfly, a
SUNY Plattsburgh alumna, has served at the college for eight years. Her
last day is today.



Butterfly has taught courses within Communication Studies, served on the
Diversity Incident Response Education & Communication Team (DIRECT), and
has been an ally and a trusted colleague. As she transitions to her new
role, please join us in congratulating Butterfly.



Dr. Michelle Cromwell will serve as interim Title IX coordinator as of
8/28/2021 until we hire a new Title IX Coordinator. Zyaijah Nadler will
continue in her role as Violence Prevention Education & Outreach
Coordinator. We are grateful for the work that Zyaijah has done and will
continue to do around sexual violence, interpersonal violence, stalking,
discrimination and LGBTQ+ inclusion initiatives. Title IX reports can still
be filed at title.ix at plattsburgh.edu



The College will employ a Title IX coordinator in the near future to ensure
the college is in compliance with all state and federal legislation and
mandates, including policy creation and revisions.
