[Important Information for Employees] December Graduation Event Moving Online

Dear Campus Community,

I am writing to let you know we will not be able to host an in-person
graduation program as planned for our winter graduates on Saturday,
December 12.

The ongoing challenges associated with COVID-19 are simply too great. We
waited as long as we could but circumstances have dictated this outcome.

Instead, we are planning a virtual program that will air live at 10 a.m.
when the ceremony was originally set to take place.

This is a difficult decision as it was for our May graduates. I know how
important this day is to all graduates and their families, as well as so
many of you who have invested in their lives. As a first-generation college
student, I especially recognize how important a milestone this is.

We are looking at ways we can make this ceremony special to them and their
families. We are also applying lessons learned from our May ceremony.

Details on how to watch and where will be shared in November. Names of
December graduates will also be posted on the college website.
