Dear Teaching Faculty Members,
Closing arguments begin tomorrow for the Derek Chauvin trial. We know that
many faculty, staff, and students in our campus community are struggling
with a variety of feelings related to how this trial will ultimately end.
The deans and I would like to invite interested faculty to a session
designed to support faculty who are wondering how they can best respond as
teachers when the verdicts are announced.
We will gather tomorrow, *Monday, April 19, from 4:00-5:30 p.m.*, for this
purpose. You are welcome to join us for any portion of this meeting that
suits you.
**Note: We are still getting the zoom properly set up and will send it as
soon as we are able to tomorrow.
Thank you, all.
