MLK Day & National Day of Racial Healing

Dear Beloved Community,

It is time to celebrate two key holidays! Today (January 18th), is Martin
Luther King Day! Celebrating the life and the impact of the civil rights
movement leader, minister, and activist Dr. Martin Lugher King Jr. (January
15, 1929 - April 4, 1968). It would be an understatement to say that our
country would not be where it is today without the work of MLK! His work
challenged segregation, built community, and fought for equality for the
African-American community.

Tuesday the 19th marks, the 5th National Day of Racial Healing! Please
join, Heal Our Communities in their National Day of Racial Healing

at 3pm EST/12pm PST. To heal, we must come together as an inclusive
community, challenge systems of oppression and ensure that SUNY Plattsburgh
is All S.E.T. -(S)tudent Centered, (E)quity Minded, (T)ruma Informed".
