Student Parking During Move-In Weekend

Students shall pre-register vehicles of family and friends, who assist with
move-in, under the student's account in MyPlattsburgh
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/>. When pre-registered and legally
parked, vehicles do NOT require a visitor parking tag through August 31.

UPD disburses all preassigned student hang tags from the *ANGELL COLLEGE
CENTER, 9A-NOON, AUG 27-SEP 1 (except Sunday)*. Save time and verify your
tag assignment in MyPlattsburgh <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/> before
attempting to pick it up. If it is not assigned yet, retrace all
registration steps before notifying parking at plattsburgh.edu. During this
busy time, please allow sufficient time for tags to process by registering
as soon as possible in August.

The Appeals Board will expunge a 'no permit visible' ticket received in
August when a vehicle is pre-registered and legally parked in accordance
with the Parking Lots & Restrictions guidelines. They will not consider a
ticket issued to an illegally parked vehicle; however; they will waive a
first offense for 'no permit visible' on an unregistered vehicle as a
one-time warning upon filing an appeal.
