*Have inactive paper records for storage?* *Have* *paper records which need
to be destroyed*? We have available space in our records rooms.
*Need boxes?*
*We have a surplus of empty bankers boxes in storage. Please email Policies
at policies at plattsburgh.edu <policies at plattsburgh.edu> to request
boxes. Let us know how many standard bankers boxes you need and where you
need them delivered. Best Practices:*
- *Label each box of records*: Inventory Box Label

- *Labels should be secured with tape just under the handle. *
- *Use standard bankers boxes* (15l x12w x10h)
- Paper records stored in larger boxes cannot be filed properly on
shelving and are difficult to lift.
When your boxes are ready to be moved, please send the information below
(#1 - 5) to Policies at policies at plattsburgh.edu to have a work order
prepared on your behalf.

2. *Number of boxes (any box over 50lbs)*
3. *Contact Person*
4. *Department*
5. *Destruction Date or Storage *
Records improperly boxed or labeled will not be moved.
