Ringing Down the Curtain

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (MAY 1, 2025) - The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of
Theatre presents the Spring 2025 Ringing Down the Curtain at Hartman
Theatre on Thursday, May 8 at 7 pm.

A long standing tradition of performance on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus,
Ringing Down the Curtain is a showcase of student performers in acting and
dance.

The evening’s performances include Julia Devine’s Acting for Everyone
classes, Erika Guay’s Stagecraft Skills displaying a special project, and
Kathy Koester’s Dance for Everybody and Dance and the Creative Process
classes as they perform a spectacular piece based on the Grammys.

THE 106: Acting for Everyone and THE 217: Dance for Everybody are Cardinal
Core Individual Expression courses - the student performers are from majors
across our campus.
The Spring 2025 Ringing Down the Curtain will take place on Thursday, May
8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hartman Theatre, within the John Myers Building.
This event is free and open to the public.

All are welcome to attend and support friends, classmates, and students -
take photos, cheer loudly, and celebrate their hard work and courage.
