Summer Equity Advocate Dates Announced

Please join Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for upcoming Equity Advocate
Workshop opportunities.  Equity Advocates (EAs) are employees who serve as
consultants and advisors to search committees to support the growth and
development of workforce diversity.  The benefits of participating in the
training are:


● Support the growth and development of workforce diversity
● Learn skills to promote equity-minded practices
● Receive training that allows you to serve as an Equity Advocate
● Gain useful information about how unconscious bias and microaggressions
impact the hiring process and workplace
● Meet new people and learn about best practices

help us advance progress towards our bold goal to have our entire workforce
serving as Equity Advocates by Fall 2026!



The dates are:



*Monday, June 2nd and Wednesday, June 4th *(must attend both days)
*10am to 12 noon (Hosted on Zoom)*


OR


*Tuesday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 5th *(must attend both days)
*10am to 12 noon****** (Workshop Sessions held in-person)*

*Alumni Conference Room, ACC*


*****On June 5th, in the Alumni Conference Room from 12pm to 1pm, there
will be a special celebratory lunch for all new Equity Advocates who have
completed the June 2025 Sessions.*
