July Equity Advocate Training Dates

Please join Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for our July Equity Advocate
Workshop opportunities.  Equity Advocates (EAs) are employees who serve as
consultants and advisors to search committees to support the growth and
development of workforce diversity.  The benefits of participating in the
training are:


● Support the growth and development of workforce diversity
● Learn skills to promote equity-minded practices
● Receive training that allows you to serve as an Equity Advocate
● Gain useful information about how unconscious bias and microaggressions
impact the hiring process and workplace
● Meet new people and learn about best practices

The July details are:



*Option I: Zoom Sessions for new Equity Advocates*

• Monday, July 28 & Wednesday, July 30, 2025 (must attend both days)

• 2 to 4 pm

• Held virtually on Zoom



*Option II: In-Person Sessions for new Equity Advocates*

• Tuesday, July 29 & Thursday, July 31, 2025 (must attend both days)

• 2 to 4 pm

• Held in-person in the Alumni Conference Room in ACC
