Mandatory Compliance Training - Spring Assignments - Reminder

Compliance training will be adminsistered using the SafeColleges (Vector
Solutions) platform. Training is completely online, accessible from
MyPlattsburgh portal, self-paced and can be completed at your convenience
around your schedule. The total training for the term is estimated at 127
minutes in length and the due date is 5/31/2024. These trainings have been
assigned to all employees to comply with state external mandates.


Spring 2024 Compliance Training Assignments:

   1.

   Cyber Security Awareness for Employees of Educational Institutions: End
   User Best Practices (22 min.)
   2.

   Drug Free Workplace (24 min.)
   3.

   Email and Messaging Safety (14 min.)
   4.

   FERPA: Confidentiality of Records (17 min.)
   5.

   Hazard Communication: Right to Understand (GHS) (28 min.) - Test Out
   Option is Available.
   6.

   Workplace Violence: Awareness and Prevention (22 min.)

Accessing your SafeColleges Course Assignments:

   -

   Emails will be sent to @plattsburgh.edu users, with the subject: [Official]
   SafeColleges Compliance Training Assignment. Click the link within the
   email to login.
   -

    Visit the MyPlattsburgh Portal to click the icon on the main menu to
   login.


Reminders and Deadlines:

   -

   Outstanding training assignments are being sent weekly by email.
   -

   The training deadline for each course is set as 5/31/2024.
   -

   The next cycle of compliance training assignments will be assigned for
   Fall 2024 in September.
   -

   Employees who do not have a dedicated computer or quiet space to meet
   their training requirements and/or deadlines should speak with their
   supervisors so that every effort can be made to support you.
   -

   Employees who need reasonable accommodations to meet training
   requirements and/or deadlines, should speak with their supervisors or
   contact Human Resource Services at hrs at plattsburgh.edu.

Extra Training:

   -

   Additional training courses can be found in the "Extra Training" section
   within SafeColleges. The course library offers a wide range of topics.
   Users can browse the library and complete additional courses that interest
   you or refer back to completed training topics as a refresher.
