New Mandatory Training Requirement - Ethics for NYS Employees- Additional Training Dates

In summer 2023, the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government,
released a new Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC). The CETC is an
ethics training mandated for all New York State officers and employees. The
CETC is a live, 90 minute, instructor-led training that covers the Public
Officers Law and other related ethics laws and regulations. The expectation
is 100% compliance by completion of one (1) training for all NYS employees
by 12/31/23.


The Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government is providing additional
training sessions:

   -

   Thursday, October 12, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, October 19, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, October 26, from 1-2:30 p.m.


State employees may request registration at a Commission hosted session by
filling out a training registration request at:
https://ethics.ny.gov/form/enrollment-request-for-training-

   -

   You will receive an email confirmation when your request has been
   processed.
   -

   WebEx access links will be sent to all registered participants the week
   of the event.
   -

   Please Note: Employees should register and attend from a SUNY email
   address so that the training records are properly recorded.
