Minimum Wage Increase Effective December 31st

[Human Resource Services]

Effective with the payroll period beginning December 22nd, the minimum wage
will* increase to $14.20/hr*.  All active state employees (including Temp
Service and Work Study student employees) will automatically be increased
to the new minimum wage.



Payroll Services will be sending spreadsheets to each supervisor of student
employees to allow for any rate changes above $14.20/hr.



The maximum hourly rate that can be paid to student employees *without*
additional approval will be $15.00/hr.  The maximum hourly rate that can be
paid to student employees *with* Human Resource Services approval is
$16.00/hr.
