ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE RESTRUCTURING OF ENROLLMENT AND STUDENT SERVICES AND RELOCATION OF THE CAMPUS FOOD PANTRY

We are excited to announce that the Division of Enrollment and Student
Success has a new structure and a new central location.

As previously announced, Cori Jackson has been named interim Vice President
for Enrollment and Student Success.  In that role Cori will be responsible
for general oversight of all division activities and will provide direct
supervision to Admissions, Global Education, University Police, Career
Development Center, and Athletics & Recreation.

Stephen Matthews has been named Interim Dean of Students.  Common on most
campuses, Steve will be the first Dean of Students at SUNY Plattsburgh in
nearly 20 years.  He will focus on the student-facing activities and serve
as a liaison between students, the college and the community.  As a part of
this role, he will oversee Student Conduct, Veterans Affairs, and the
Student Health and Counseling Center. Additionally he will supervise Campus
Housing and Community Living, now led by Jim Sherman, and the Center for
Student Involvement, now led by Jacob Avery.

Michele Carpentier, Assistant Vice President for ESS, rounds out the team
with a focus on Special Programs and Emergency Services.  Michele will have
direct supervision for EOP, TRIO SSS, Student Accessibility Services (SAS),
the Cardinal Achievement Program (CAP) and Upward Bound.  In addition she
will oversee all student emergency services including the Student Emergency
Grant and the campus food pantry.

To streamline services to students Cori, Steve and Michele are now
co-located in the Angell College Center on the first floor near the HUB.
Providing support to the team as Administrative Assistant is Lyndsey
Lafountain who is also in the Angell College Center location.  All can be
reached at 518-564-2280.

In addition, the Campus Food Pantry has been relocated to the same area to
allow for easier access and more space for the pantry. Students who wish to
utilize the Cardinal Food Pantry are encouraged to place on-line orders for
