Racial Equity & Justice (REJ) Fellows Information Session | 8/24

Dear Colleagues,

As we prepare to launch the Racial Equity and Justice (REJ) Fellows
Initiative, there is a scheduled information session on *August 24 from 4-5
p.m. in The H.U.B. *

A part of being a REJ fellow includes:

1. Participating in some initial education discussions, which will set the
groundwork to understand inequity.
2. Creating a compilation of successful practices that support student
success, which can be shared as a model for other faculty to use.
3. Participating in teaching circles with faculty peers to assist them to
practice equity with BIPOC students.
4. Attending professional development workshops with experts like Estella
Bensimon.
5.  Elimination of equity gaps in student outcomes of persistence,
retention and graduation rates


The info session offers a chance to learn more about the initiative. *Please

August 20. *
