Hello

Welcome Back! Here is some useful information about voting. Please feel
free to share with you students and encourage them to register to vote and
to vote on November 3rd.

To Register to Vote

For New York State:

Through the DMV (Online):
https://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/electronic-voter-registration-application

Paper Registration: http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingRegister.html

Other States:

Secretary of State Database:
https://www.nass.org/initiatives/national-voter-registration-month

New York State Voter Registration Deadlines for the  General Election:

The following are set deadlines, if you register any later you will not be
able to participate in the 2016 Election. So have all of your items
postmarked by or well before the following dates:

Voter Registration Mail-In Date: October 9th

Application for Absentee Ballot: Postmark Date- October 27th.

 Tuesday, November 3rd is the date of the General Election if you plan to
vote at your assigned polling location.
