All students are reminded that, when choosing optional fees in tuition, you
must select/deselect two parking fees from the list based on your vehicle
status:

   - *Students without cars*, must remove two parking fees from the
optional fees list on their bill, and then click the UPDATE CHARGES button.
This step eliminates the risk of forfeiting unwanted parking fees at the
   end of session week one.

   - *Students with cars*, must accept the *two* parking fees -
registration fee *and* parking fee - from the list of optional fees on
their bill, and then click the UPDATE CHARGES button. In addition, register
a vehicle in MyPlattsburgh <http://my.plattsburgh.edu/> starting August
1st at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Complete vehicle registration only
after the system resets on July 31 or it will not process. These two steps
will ensure that a parking tag is ready to claim on Move-In Weekend as
students will need to have tags displayed on their cars by the start of the
   session.

   - *Online only students* are not billed parking fees in tuition, yet
intermittent parking for labs, library, meetings, etc., still requires the
purchase of a tag. Email parking at plattsburgh.edu to add parking fees to
your bill, and then follow the same "student with cars" instructions above.

Refer to the CAMPUS PARKING
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/about/directions/parking/> page for detailed
registration instructions, and this link for PARKING DATES & DEADLINES

as
well as tag claiming instructions on Move-In Weekend.
