[Important Information for Students] STUDENT PARKING COMPLIANCE FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

Effective August 26, all cars must display a valid hang tag as proof of
compliance with the campus Traffic and Parking Regulations
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/about/directions/parking/regulations-fees.html>.
Compliance requires cars to be registered and display a valid hang tag, and
be parked in designated lots according to the registrant's affiliation.

Prior to August 26, only students that pre-registered cars may legally park
in designated lots without tags until they are able to claim and display
their tag on move-in weekend as outlined in the IMPORTANT PARKING DATES &
DEADLINES below. If you have not pre-registered yet, act today.  It takes
up to 48 hours to process hang tags. (See Helpful Links below.)

After the designated move-in date, students with visitors that remain on
campus after the session starts must pre-register the visitor's car in
www.plattsburgh.edu/parking using this Vehicle Registration Form
<https://machform.plattsburgh.edu/view.php?id=407885>.  Visitors must abide
by the same compliance requirements as residents.


IMPORTANT PARKING DATES & DEADLINES


*August*


*1-26*     August is vehicle registration month for the new academic year.

*20        *Check-In for Early Arrivals, Field House, 1-3p, UDP to disburse
tags and resolve issues.

*21*        New Student Orientation, Field House, 9a-3p, UPD to disburse
tags and resolve issues.

*23-27*   Hang tag disbursement at Angell College Ctr, Fri-Tues (except
Sun), 9a-12n.
*25  *      Last day to park pre-registered vehicles without hang tags.
*26  *      Hang tags required to legally park in designated campus lots as
fall session begins.
*28 *       Late registrants claim hang tags from UPD for the remaining
session.
*30*        Deadline for students, without cars, to cancel parking fees and
avoid forfeiture.
