[Important Information for Students] Parking Registration Reminder for Students

*All* students must take action to accept or reject two Optional Parking
Fees <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/cost-aid/tuition/optional-fees.html> in
tuition.


   - *Students without cars* must remove two parking fees (PR and PK) from
   tuition to avoid forfeiting these fees after session week one. Note: Online
   students are not billed optional parking fees.


   - *Students with cars* must take these steps in MyPlattsburgh
   <http://my.plattsburgh.edu/> to obtain a parking hang tag:
      - *Step 1: * Add two parking fees in tuition and accept the charges.
      (See access instructions below.)
      - *Step 2: * Register a car. (See access instructions below.)  Note:
      Online students, who want a hang tag, must submit a request to
      parking at plattsburgh.edu to have optional parking fees added to their
      account.

*Claim Your Hang Tag *and display it on your vehicle
by session start, August 26. Be sure to verify tag assignment in
MyPlattsburgh <http://my.plattsburgh.edu/> (Automobile Registration
page) before
attempting to claim it at


   - *New Student Orientation*, Field House, August 21, 9A-3P, for first-time
   students that pre-register at least 48 hours prior to arrival.


   - *Move-in Weekend,* Angell College Center, August 23-27 (except
   Sunday), 9:00 am - Noon.
