[Important Information for Students] Finishing Strong

Good morning Cardinals,

I am writing to you today for two reasons.  The first is to wish each of
the best of luck as you finish out the Spring 2023 semester.  Love
yourselves enough to dedicate these last 2 weeks to getting the most out of
your classroom experience, to getting all of your assignments in, and to
studying for your finals.  If you need help, please visit your faculty
members, visit the Learning Center, ask one of us.  We care about each of
you and want to help you achieve success.  Students who are returning, make
sure you have finalized your registration, signed up for housing, and have
a restful Summer break.  For those students graduating, congratulations!  I
look forward to sharing your accomplishments at Commencement on May 20.
Know how proud we are of each of you and how much success we wish you as
you open a new chapter in your lives.

Secondly, we are all keenly aware of the Mental Health struggles so many
students across the US are dealing with.  Our University is focusing energy
on helping as we can.  This year we have launched some new programs and are
in the midst of preparing for a campus wide campaign #Healwithit.  Thank
you to all who have participated.  In an effort to gather information about
our student population's mental health, I am asking you to take part in a
very short survey.  The results of which will be used to shape
Plattsburgh's mental health support in the future.  Please help us help you
and future students by providing your input.  Here is a link to the Student
