Good afternoon Cardinals;

I’m writing to you today as we get closer to the start of the Spring 2022
semester next Monday. I wanted to take the opportunity to welcome each of
you back to campus and to specifically welcome our new community members
who will be joining us in just a few days. Below you’ll find specific
information about returning to campus and about Opening Weekend. Please
pay special attention to the On-Campus Student Arrival section as we have
made a modification due to expected inclement weather.

*Vaccine and Booster requirements:*

Be reminded that all SUNY Plattsburgh students, who will have a physical
presence on the campus, are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and
if eligible to have a booster, OR to have a valid exemption. If you have
not done so, please upload your proof of a Booster Shot using the Proof of
Vaccination or Booster Form
<https://machform.plattsburgh.edu/view.php?id=366894>

*Pre-semester Testing:*

Prior to your arrival on campus, you are required to submit proof of a
negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours of your arrival on campus OR a
negative rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of your arrival on
campus. Submit your proof of testing on the Pre-Semester Testing Form.
<https://machform.plattsburgh.edu/view.php?id=375778>  If you receive a
Positive test result, you *MUST *remain home and complete your isolation
there before returning to campus.

All campus community members (Faculty/Staff and Students) will be required
to attend campus Pool Testing the first week of the semester. Please visit
the COViD-19 Testing page
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/covid-19/covid-19-testing.html> for more
information and to find out, based on your last name, which day you should
test.
