[Important Information for Students] Student COVID Vaccine Clinic Tuesday | Links to Sign Up

Dear Students,

We have obtained a special allotment of vaccines for
distribution exclusively to SUNY Plattsburgh students on Tuesday, April 6.
We have partnered with both Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital and the
Clinton County Health Department to make these available.

These will be distributed in *Memorial Hall from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and
again from 12:30 to 4 p.m. *This clinic will provide the Moderna vaccine,
and a second dose will be administered four weeks later on Tuesday, May 4.

*You must commit to receive both doses of Moderna at Memorial Hall. *

The supply is limited and we expect these times to fill up, so if you are
interested please do this promptly. Out of state and international students
should use your local Plattsburgh address. You may make appointments now at

If appointments are full at these sites, continue to check back as these
are refreshed and new times open due to changes and cancellations.

We are also working with SUNY to get additional doses for another dedicated
distribution on campus soon. These would likely be one-dose Johnson &
Johnson vaccines. We will share more details when they become available

*Other Vaccine Options*
If you are unable to secure an appointment on Tuesday, April 6 on campus,
you may:

   - *Sign up for Clinton County standby now.* Students living on campus
   and elsewhere in Clinton County who are 18 or older can also sign up for
   the county health department's standby list. The county will use this list
   when there are extra doses available. You can call 518-565-4848 or email
   health at clintoncountygov.com <health at clintoncountygov.com> with the
   following information: Subject line: COVID vaccination standby list;
   Name; Phone number; Email address; City, town or village of residence.
   Indicate your Clinton County address or residence hall address.

   - *Book an appointment at the state or county site beginning Tuesday,
   April 6. *All those 16 and over can then begin scheduling appointments
   to receive one of three FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines. All SUNY
   Plattsburgh employees, including student employees, are already eligible
   to receive a vaccine. New York also provides access to all people age 30
   and older, as well as those in certain health categories. State (
