I regret to inform our Queensbury Campus that SUNY Adirondack missing
student Dominick Carrey was found deceased. Please see the update below,
from SUNY Adirondack's Dean for Student Affairs. In addition to the open
support available on campus tonight, all SUNY Plattsburgh students have

On Wednesday afternoon, SUNY Adirondack received notification from Warren
County Sheriff’s Office

that missing student Dominick Carrey was found deceased. With great
sadness, we mourn Dominick, a Porter Corners native majoring in Computer
Science in our Technology, Engineering and Computer Science division. Our
college community extends our heartfelt sympathy and thoughts to Dominick’s
family and friends.

During this difficult time, the college's Counseling Center is offering
grief counseling and support to anyone. Tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 16),
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Beth Braxton, chair of SUNY Adirondack’s
Counseling Division, will be available from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Residence
Hall. After 7:30 p.m., help is available through Warren County’s Mobile
Crisis Response at 518-292-5499 <(518)%20292-5499>.

On-campus counselors are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and
Friday. The Counseling Office is located in Washington Hall of the
Queensbury Campus and can be reached at 518-743-2278 <(518)%20743-2278> or
counseling at sunyacc.edu.  Counselors will also be available in the Residence
Hall on Thursday.
