Hudson Annex
Rooftop Exhaust Fans Replacement Project

Dear Campus Community,

Work to replace the three rooftop exhaust fan units located on Hudson Annex
will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 7:00 AM. Weydman Electric, along
with K & L Plumbing, will serve as the primary contractors for this project.

The project will require the use of an overhead crane to remove and replace
the units. Crane operations are expected to begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026,
and will require several mobilizations throughout the project. The
contractor’s pick plan and crane inspection certification have been
reviewed by Capital Planning & Facilities.

The project is expected to last up to three weeks.

Reminder: All fume hoods must be emptied prior to Monday, May 18, 2026. The
exhaust system will be offline until the new units are installed and
operational.
