[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Dr. Ann Tracy

Dear Members of the Campus Community,
We were saddened to have learned of the Dec. 28, 2025 death of Dr Ann Tracy, distinguished teaching professor emerita of English. Dr. Tracy died five days before her 85th birthday in Bangor, Maine.
She had a long and distinguished 30-plus year career at SUNY Plattsburgh, retiring in 2001 but continuing on as an adjunct for several more before returning to her home state of Maine.
