[Important Information for Employees] Corrected 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

A SUNY internal audit of our Clery Act compliance identified a statistical
error in the 2022 *Annual Security and Fire Safety Report*. Specifically,
two incidents of Fondling reported for the 2021 calendar year were
inadvertently over-reported. Upon review, it was determined that two
incidents logged by a Campus Security Authority (CSA) had been duplicated
in University Police records, and one incident did not satisfy the Clery
Act definition of Fondling, resulting in an over-reporting of (3)
incidences on both the "On-Campus" and "On-Campus Residence Hall"
categories.

The corrected 2021 data is reflected in the updated *2024 Annual Security
and Fire Safety Report*, with revisions noted on page 64 under “Fondling –
2021.”

The updated report is attached and also available on the University Police
website under “Main Campus ASFSR
