[Important Information for Employees] RESEND WITH DATE The Death of Dr. Richard Beach

Dear Members of Our Campus Community,

I wanted to share information on the celebration of life being held for Dr.
Richard Beach, longtime director of the Center for the Study of Canada and
international education who died Aug. 21, 2024, Saturday, Oct. 12.

Burial service will be for family at 11 a.m. in Austin, Quebec, followed by
a celebration of Dr. Beach’s life from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Hotel Verso, 1150
Rue Principale Ouest, Magog, Quebec, J1X 2Bl8 off Autoroute 10. Guests are
welcome to drop in anytime during those hours for light refreshments, a
slideshow, and sharing of memories.
