Dear Campus Community,
The SUNY Plattsburgh University Council is seeking nominations for the
Distinguished Service Award.

Since 1966, the University Council has periodically recognized a person or
persons who have directly or indirectly played a key role in advancing SUNY
Plattsburgh.

This award, given at the pleasure of the University Council, was originally
conceived by former President Dr. George W. Angell. Individuals have been
recognized for their contribution to the college community or state; and
demonstration of leadership ability in the service of others.

If you would like to nominate someone for this prestigious award, please
email grangecg at plattsburgh.edu. It is necessary to include a brief summary
of the person’s qualifications for the recognition in your email.

Please submit your nomination by Friday, Oct. 18.
