**Campus Community,**

The University Police Department is investigating a report that on May 28
at approximately 10:30 am, a woman was walking alone behind the Field
House, near Chip Cummings Field when a male passerby made inappropriate
sexual comments to her. He is described as being in his mid-twenties, with
a dark complexion, curly dark hair, and weighing approximately 250 pounds.
The male left without further interaction.

If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact
University Police at 518-564-2022.

In light of this incident, we would like to remind the campus community of
the following safety tips:

1. **Stay Alert:** Always be aware of your surroundings. Avoid distractions
such as headphones or mobile devices when walking alone.

2. **Buddy System:** Whenever possible, walk with a friend, especially
during evening hours or in less-populated areas of the campus.

3. **Report Suspicious Activity:** If you see anything suspicious or feel
unsafe, do not hesitate to contact University Police immediately.

4. **Trust Your Instincts:** If something doesn't feel right, trust your
instincts and remove yourself from the situation as quickly as possible.
