[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Judith "Judy" Dashnaw

Dear Members of our Campus Community,

We were saddened to have learned of the loss of another member of our
community with the Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, death of Judith “Judy” Dashnaw,
who spent more than half or her life in support of social science and the
psychology department. She was 73.

Ms. Dashnaw joined the staff as a typist for social science in August 1969,
two months after her graduation from Lyon Mountain High School. She
remained at that post for nearly 10 years before moving to psychology as
its typist. She was promoted there to senior typist in June 1986 and to
secretary 1 in October 1989.

Ms. Dashnaw retired after 37 years of service in September 2006.

At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St.,
