Storage Needs
- Storage Evaluation: Clinton Community College is in the process of
providing additional details to SUNY Plattsburgh about storage
requirements
for their EMT program equipment.
- Potential Spaces: Currently, unused spaces in the basement of
Hawkins Hall are being considered and evaluated as possible storage
solutions.
- Clinton Community College Surplus Item Transfer to SUNY Plattsburgh
- Surplus Item Approval: Faculty requests for surplus items in the
School of Arts and Sciences have now received final approval through the
appropriate administrative channels, including the department, dean,
Institutional Advancement Gifts Office, and the Vice President for
Administration & Finance.
- Pickup Coordination: The campus received a gift of 275 academic
items from CCC that will serve programs including Biology, Art, Earth and
Environmental Sciences, Physics and Chemistry. The items range
from easels
to electrostatic generators, from microscopes to mineral collections, and
from cameras to carts. The School of Arts and Sciences is grateful to
accept these vital resources for their classes, labs, and
studios. The Dean
of Arts & Sciences office is currently coordinating a pickup plan with
faculty departments and CCC to ensure a streamlined process.
- Priority Selection: It is important to know that the Clinton County
Government has priority selection of all facilities-related surplus
equipment from CCC, after which SUNY Plattsburgh will acquire
any remaining
items.
