[Important Information for Employees] Campus Portal will be upgraded July 5th 2023

Dear Campus Community,

ITS will be deploying an upgrade to our my.plattsburgh.edu portal on July
5th. The upgrade includes refreshed branding and adjustments for better use
on mobile devices. This was accomplished while minimizing the number of
changes made to the location or names of existing links. We have
incorporated feedback from various campus stakeholders and are happy to get
this out before the first orientation session in July.

One of the biggest changes you will notice is that the icons at the top of
the portal are no longer there and instead have been replaced with a list
of services that appear down the left-hand side of the page for easy
access.  Those services are broken down into three sections "Plattsburgh",
"Google", and "Administrative links". The icons that appear in those
sections are role-based and sorted in alphabetical order.

When looking at the portal on a mobile device, those same service options
will appear under "Campus Services" listed in a new dropdown menu at the
top.

Please keep in mind this upgrade was not meant to be a complete rebuild and
retool of the portal, it was simply to address urgent issues and was done
using existing resources with no costs incurred by the campus.
