[Important Information for Employees] Temporary Water Discoloration

*SENT OF BEHALF OF FACILITIES, MAINTENANCE & OPERATIONS*

Please be advised that the City of Plattsburgh Public Water Works is
currently flushing the water system throughout the city.  While the water
flushes through, you may notice changes to your water color, particularly a
yellow or brown tint. Their hope is that as the week goes on, the
discoloration will dissipate. The City has been conducting tests on the
water.  The tests have been, and continue to come back, as safe for
consumption.
