[Important Information for Employees] Death of Marguerite Eisinger

Dear Members of the Campus Community,

We are saddened to have learned of the death of Marguerite Eisinger, who
died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at her home in Plattsburgh. She was 82.

Ms. Eisinger, who earned her bachelor’s degree in art in 1983, joined the
art department as a lecturer in 1987. In May 1991 she became a staff
assistant and was promoted to senior staff assistant in July 2010, taking
over as docent coordinator for the Plattsburgh State Art Museum. She
retired in 2012.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at a later date at St. John
the Baptist Church in Plattsburgh; burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
