[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Beverly Forster

Dear Members of Our Campus Community,

We were saddened to have learned of the death of Mrs. Beverly Forster, who
died Aug. 31, 2021, at the Masonic Care Community in Utica, N.Y. She was 85.

Mrs. Forster joined the classified staff on campus as a stenographer in
1966; in 1977, she became a senior clerk. In August 1983, she moved to the
Office of the President, serving as assistant to four SUNY Plattsburgh
presidents: Dr. George Angell, Dr. Joseph Burke, Dr. Sherry Hood Penney and
Dr. Charles Warren, before retiring in January 1991.

Mrs. Forster spent many years volunteering as a master gardener and was a
sister in the Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be announced at a later date with burial in the Port Douglas
Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294
Mannix Road, Peru, N.Y., 518-643-9055, www.hamiltonfuneralhome.com.
