Good Morning Cardinals,
We would like to take a moment to thank all of the test site volunteers and
eligible employees who have participated in our mandated testing, you are
instrumental in the success of our testing program. We want to also take
this opportunity to share some updates about testing and to address some
frequently asked questions.
If Dropping off your Home/Test Kit
Registered and labeled test kits can be dropped off at Algonquin Monday
through Wednesday 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 3:30pm. Please use the Campus Housing
& Community Living entrance.
We have closed the Test Site Testing Tickets event. If you already
“purchased” your ticket, thank you! Your ticket is for the entire semester
and you may come at any time during your time slot. If you are unable to
come to your assigned time slot one week, please attend another time slot
Monday through Wednesday 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 3:30pm. If you did not purchase
a ticket, you can drop off your test kit during regular testing hours.
If you do not report to campus Monday through Wednesday 9am - 12pm, 1pm -
3:30pm a 24 hour drop off is available at University Police. Using this
drop off should be an exception and every effort should be made to drop off
during your designated drop off time slot.
Please ensure you scan your Cardinal Card ID or use the Check-In QR code
when dropping off your test kit. This is the best way we will know you
attended testing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I label my test kit with the sticker?
Labels should be attached so that the barcode is not covered. The most
popular way is to wrap the sticker around the test kit perpendicular to the
barcode.
Can I still attend in person testing?
You may attend in person testing, however, we do not recommend it as we are
making every effort to keep population density low for in person testing.
Do I still have to attend testing if I have received the COVID-19 Vaccine?
Yes, testing is still required for all eligible employees.
Do I have to get a ticket every week for testing?
No, your ticket is good for the entire semester. Tickets are no longer
available. If you did not purchase a ticket, you can drop off your test kit
during regular testing hours: Monday through Wednesday 9am - 12pm, 1pm -
3:30pm.
I missed my testing time slot, can I attend another time?
Yes, if you are unable to come to your assigned time slot one week, please
attend another time slot Monday through Wednesday 9am - 12pm, 1pm -
3:30pm.
