[Important Information for Employees] Technology Disruption

The campus experienced authentication/login issues for roughly half an hour
on February 4, 2021, starting around 3:30 p.m. The technical issue
disrupted a number of services including Moodle, our MyPlattsburgh portal,
and our email system.
Our tech teams determined that the issue stemmed from changes made to the
COVID-19 Health Screening Form. The changes, which were required to meet
SUNY Guidelines, caused issues as the system reached heavy load.
We have restored the former system and continue to work on solutions. As
always, should you encounter any issues, please contact the Helpdesk
