SENT ON BEHALF OF HUMAN RESOURCE SERVICES

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) allows eligible UUP, CSEA, or
M/C employees to exchange previously accrued annual (vacation) or personal
leave in return for a credit to be applied toward their employee share
NYSHIP premiums on a biweekly basis. All participants must be the enrollee
(contract holder) in either the Empire Plan or an HMO and have a minimum
balance of eight annual/personal days remaining after the forfeiture.
Part-time employees will forfeit prorated days of leave for a prorated
credit.

CSEA employees in a title below SG18 can exchange either 3 days of
annual/personal leave for a credit of $600 or 6 days of annual/personal
leave for a credit of $1,200.

UUP or M/C employees with an annual salary of $70,947 and below can
exchange either 3 days of annual leave for a credit of $600 or 6 days of
annual leave for a credit of $1,200.

UUP or M/C employees with an annual salary of more than $70,947 and below
$101,385 can exchange either 2 days of annual leave for a credit of $600 or
4 days of annual leave for a credit of $1,200.

Please note that 10-month academic employees do not earn annual leave and
therefore are NOT eligible to participate in this program.

The deadline to enroll in PEP for the 2021 calendar year is Monday,
November 30, 2020. An individual email was sent directly to all eligible
employees on November 2. If you believe you are eligible and are interested
in enrolling in PEP but did not receive the enrollment form via email,
please contact Human Resource Services at hrs at plattsburgh.edu.
