[Important Information for Employees] New email scam hitting campus accounts

Our campus has been alerted to suspicious emails asking users to login to
Blackboard via a link in an email. The fraudulent message may look like the
image below or include an image similar to the one below:

*Do not reply to the email message or click any of the links in it.* It is
a phishing scam.

A phishing email is a scam by which a person is tricked into giving their
confidential information to a third party, which will then use
the information for illicit purposes.  Always check the address of the
sender, not just the name, and hover over links included in the emails to
see where they will take you.
