[Academic-Affairs] Rosh Hashanah reminder

Office of the Provost/VPAA provost-office at plattsburgh.edu

Colleagues,

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins this Sunday evening (Sept. 25th)
and will continue through Tuesday evening (September 27th). Happy New Year
to all who are observing.

I wanted to take this opportunity to send a reminder about our policy
regarding students who are unable to attend classes during observance of
religious holidays. These absences should be considered excused, but
students are still responsible for course material and assignments. We are
also asked to consider the travel time needed for students to observe
religious holidays with their families.

Plattsburgh Undergraduate and Graduate College Catalog, please visit:

If you have questions, please contact the Provost's Office at 518-564-5402

Thank you all, and Happy Friday! Wishing you a great weekend.
