[Academic-Affairs] Digital Age of Vulnerability Conference Recordings Available

*Good morning, colleagues.*

*I wanted to make sure that everyone received the recordings for the recent
conference hosted by SUNY Adirondack/Queensbury focused on mental health
issues in relation to digital media.*

*I plan to watch more of these myself, but I can highly recommend the
keynote speaker, Anne Lembke's talk, which I was able to view live during
the conference.  Dr. Lembke is an addiction specialist at Stanford
University's School of Medicine.  I agree with Emma Bartscherer, our
Queensbury Director, that this particular session was "riveting."  It made
me think a lot about my own use of social media.*

*A number of you have spoken with me about students, social media, and
distraction issues you see in your own work with our students.  I urge you
to take the time to listen to the keynote, for sure, but other sessions as
well, via the attached recordings.*
