[Academic-Affairs] Sara Phillips and leaving SUNY Plattsburgh

Colleagues,

I wanted to make sure that members of Academic Affairs were alerted to the
news that Sara Phillips has accepted a new position as Director of
Institutional Research and Planning at Rhode Island College and will be
moving to Providence RI for her new position in the near future.  She will
be a member of the senior staff at RIC and will be bringing many good
things that she learned here at Plattsburgh to another public comprehensive
institution.

Sara came to SUNY Plattsburgh as Director of the Office of Institutional
Effectiveness in November of 2018.

All who worked with Sara on accessing essential data in support of SUNY
Plattsburgh initiatives know what an invaluable colleague she has been.  I
am personally grateful for her support of my work and her many responses to
questions I have asked about academic affairs data.

We are in the process of constituting a search committee to recruit a new
director and to clarify processes while the position is not filled.  More
information will follow.

Please join me in wishing Sara the very best as she begins her new position.
