[Academic-Affairs] More information: Dual Admission Agreement with Clinton Community College

Colleagues,

You will have received a communication from President Enyedi on Wednesday
regarding the dual admissions agreement we just signed with Clinton
Community College.  I want to take a moment to acknowledge the
contributions of both JoAnn Gleeson-Kreig, Associate VP in my office, and
Carrie Woodward, Executive Director of Admissions, in drafting and
finalizing the details of this agreement.  Clinton and we are excited about
the potential enrollment benefits to both of our institutions through this
collaboration.

A few quick details to highlight in terms of any impact on our academic
departments/programs:

   -

   Students who are accepted via this agreement will not begin taking
   courses on our campus for several semesters to come.
   -

   There is no expectation for our department faculty to advise dually
   accepted students before such students are ready to transition to our
   campus (likely two years from now).


   -

   The dual admission agreement and a list of which programs already have
   articulation agreements with Clinton can be found on the Transfer

More information to follow on how we might build closer connections with
Clinton students and/or opportunities for our chairs, faculty, and advisors
to collaborate or visit with individuals at Clinton.
